A writing desk that opens with today's character already on the paper.

How it works

Trace, then writeEvery day the paper carries one model character printed faintly in vermilion, the way a copybook has been printed for centuries. Write over it with Apple Pencil or a finger. The model never becomes part of your ink and never appears in what you export.
A brush that behaves like a brushPressure, tilt and speed drive the tip; the paper answers. Raw xuan drinks the ink and blooms at the edge, sized xuan holds a crisp line, and a brush running out of ink leaves flying white.
Or write your ownType any characters you like and they are laid out as a model to trace. The bundled Kai face covers all of modern Simplified Chinese and common Traditional, so a name, a line of a poem or the one character you keep getting wrong can all become a sheet.
Finish it properlySign it, date it, cut your own seal and press it. Choose a format and the proportions, the signature position and the seal placement all follow.

Common questions

Do I need an Apple Pencil? No. A finger works, and the app falls back to speed and direction where there is no pressure. A Pencil gives you pressure, tilt and azimuth, which is a different experience.

Where did the red character go in my exported picture? It was never in it. The copybook model is drawn under your ink on the desk only.

Can I turn the model off? Yes — tap the line under the title, then “Put the copybook away and write your own”. The grid can be switched off separately.

What is free? Writing with every brush, ink, paper and inkstone; grinding the ink; undo, redo and playback; ten starter copybook sheets plus a new sheet every day; four formats; the signature and the seal; and exporting at full resolution with no watermark.

What does the Complete Studio add? The remaining 32 copybook sheets, the handscroll and album formats, the mounting workshop, the seal-carving workshop, and export at print size. It is a one-time purchase and never renews. Restore it from the same screen.

Type faces

Two open faces ship with the app, both under the SIL Open Font License 1.1: LXGW Seal, unmodified, for seal-script seal faces; and a subset of LXGW WenKai for the copybook models, renamed Inkstone Copybook Kai as that font's Reserved Font Name clause requires. Both are credited in the app under Catalogue → Licences.

它是怎么回事

先描红，再写自己的每天纸上有一个朱色范字，和几百年来的描红本一样。用 Apple Pencil 或手指顺着写。范字只在书案上，不会进入你的笔迹，也不会出现在导出的作品里。
一支像笔的笔压力、倾角和速度驱动笔锋，纸会回应：生宣吃墨、边缘洇开，熟宣留得住线；笔里的墨快用完时，纸上留下飞白。
也可以写自己的字打上任何字，它们就被铺成范字。随包的楷体覆盖全部现代简体与常用繁体，一个名字、一句诗，或者你老写不好的那一个字，都能变成一张字帖。
把一幅字写完整落款、纪年，刻一方自己的印再钤上去。换幅式，比例、落款位置和印章章法都会跟着变。
什么都不出这台设备没有账号、不联网、无分析。作品一直在这台设备上，除非你自己分享出去。

常见问题

一定要有 Apple Pencil 吗？ 不用。手指也能写，没有压力时用速度和方向回退。有 Pencil 会多出压力、倾角和方位角，手感不一样。

导出的图里怎么没有那个红字？ 它本来就不在里面。范字只画在书案上你的墨迹下面。

能不显示范字吗？ 能。点标题下面那一行，选「收起字帖，写自己的」。米字格可以单独关。

免费的是哪些？ 全部笔墨纸砚的书写、研墨、撤销重做与回放、入门十张字帖加每日一字、四种幅式、落款、钤印，以及无水印的全幅导出分享。

文房全集多出什么？ 其余 32 张字帖、手卷与册页、装裱作坊、篆刻工坊，以及打印尺寸导出。一次性购买，不会自动续费；同一页可以恢复购买。

字体

随包两套开源字体，均为 SIL OFL 1.1：霞鹜篆书（未修改）用于印面小篆；霞鹜文楷的子集用于描红范字，按其保留字体名条款已改名为 Inkstone Copybook Kai。两者都在 App 内「器物志 → 授权与致谢」中署名。

しくみ

なぞってから、自分の字を毎日、紙には朱色の手本が一字。何百年と刷られてきた習字帖と同じです。Apple Pencil でも指でも、その上をなぞって書きます。手本はあなたの墨には混ざらず、書き出した作品にも現れません。
筆のように振る舞う筆筆圧・傾き・速度が穂先を動かし、紙が応えます。生宣は墨を吸って縁がにじみ、礬熟宣は線を保ち、墨が切れかけた筆は飛白を残します。
自分の字を打ってもいい好きな字を打てば、そのまま手本として敷かれます。同梱の楷書は現代簡体字のすべてと常用繁体字を収めているので、名前でも詩の一句でも、いつも書けない一字でも、一枚の字帖になります。
一幅として仕上げる落款を入れ、年月を記し、自分の印を刻んで捺す。判型を変えれば、比率も落款の位置も印の据え方も追随します。
端末の外へは何も出ませんアカウントなし、通信なし、解析なし。作品は自分で共有するまで端末の中だけにあります。

よくある質問

Apple Pencil は必要ですか？ いいえ。指でも書けます。筆圧が得られない場合は速度と方向で補います。Pencil があると筆圧・傾き・方位角が加わり、感触が変わります。

書き出した画像に朱の字がありません。 もともと入りません。手本は机の上、あなたの墨の下にだけ描かれます。

手本を消せますか？ はい。タイトル下の行をタップし、「字帖をしまって自分の字を書く」を選びます。米字格は別に切り替えられます。

無料の範囲は？ すべての筆・墨・紙・硯での書字、墨磨り、取り消し／やり直し／再生、入門の十枚と日替わりの一枚、四つの判型、落款、鈐印、そして透かしなしの全幅書き出しと共有です。

文房全集で増えるものは？ 残り 32 枚の字帖、巻子と冊页の判型、装潢の工房、篆刻の工房、そして印刷サイズの書き出し。買い切りで、更新はされません。同じ画面から購入の復元ができます。
