A Thousand Li
Every morning the app sets a subject — a brush lineage, a colour scheme, a way of measuring distance — and paints it. The rules come from the classical manuals: Xie He's six laws, Guo Xi's three distances, the seven families of texture strokes. Nothing is produced by a neural network, and nothing leaves your phone.

What it does
A subject a day, and it has a name
Dong Yuan's hemp-fibre strokes, Fan Kuan's raindrops, Ni Zan's folded bands. Each day names its lineage and says in one line what it is — a month of use leaves you with the vocabulary.
You place the elements
Where the mass sits, how far the eye travels, how much is left unsaid: that part is yours. The brushwork is not — it follows the manuals.
Not a picture generator
No neural network, no training data, no network calls. The painting is computed on your phone from rules you could look up in a book.
