01 — The premise
Most apps ship your life somewhere else. Ours mostly can't.
Not as a privacy policy — as an architecture. A mahjong scorer has no business knowing who you are. Neither does a resistor calculator, a kung-fu game, or a teleprompter. So they don't, and they can't.
The one exception is Driftsea, which carries messages between strangers. It is anonymous, one-way and read-only by design — and it says so here rather than burying it.

Every app sits on top of a body of knowledge. We publish that knowledge openly — no app required, no paywall. If it also happens to answer your question, the app is right there.

Ashhub is one person. Design, code, artwork, localisation, store operations and this website. That constraint is why the apps are small, why they are offline, and why there is no growth team asking for your email address.
On the App Store the developer is listed under the founder's name, 明 齐. Ashhub is the studio those apps are published under.
